About Us

Gender Justice Cell (GJC) is a student run organization under the aegis of Prof. (Dr.) Raka Arya at the National law Institute University, Bhopal. We are a research-based cell committed to fostering meaningful discourse and enhancing understanding on issues related to Gender and Law. Our aim is to advance knowledge, stimulate discussion, and provide valuable insights into the intersection of gender and legal frameworks. Through rigorous research, collaborative efforts, and educational initiatives, we strive to contribute to a more equitable and informed approach to gender-related legal matters. Our major events are Gender Sensitization Programs, Workshop on Gender and Law, National Conference on Gender and Law, GJC Essay Writing Competition, Policy Initiatives, Monthly Magazine, etc. Our Faculty-In-Charge is Prof. (Dr.) Raka Arya.

The major activities of the cell include:
